The Baby Food Recipes - Free

Experience is the best teacher...

On this page I'll include some of my tips and tricks to make baby food easier to make and store.

Please feel free to contribute your own cooking tips -- I'll post the best ones so everyone can see them.

Many of the processed baby foods today contain a high amount of water. The combination dinners with meat also contain very little meat. About a teaspoon. This is why it is a good idea to make your own baby food, besides saving money and knowing exactly what you are feeding your baby.

Tip 1: Storing your Home Made Baby Food

The best way to store your baby fod is to freeze what you won't use that day. I know many moms with baby food pops in their frig (you know who you are!). Place your cooled baby food into the squares of an ice cube tray, freeze, then pop them out into a labled freezer bag with the item and date listed.

How long can I store my baby food?

In the regrigerater in an air tight container, fruits and veggies are safe for 3 days, meats or dinners with meats are safe for only 1 day.
