She married Joshua Hardy in Frederick Co., Maryland, June 15, 1811. Joshua was born in Frederick Co., Maryland August 15, 1791. Joshua was the son of Arnold Hardy and Barbara Devilbiss. At 20 years of age Joshua became the father of Arnold S. Hardy July 30, 1812. At 30 years of age Joshua became the father of Joshua Leo Hardy December 5, 1821.

At 21 years of age Cloe became the mother of Arnold S. Hardy July 30, 1812. At 30 years of age Cloe became the mother of Joshua Leo Hardy December 5, 1821.
